Andretta’s Bio:
Andretta received her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University, and she is a LAMFT working towards independent licensure. Andretta is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy(DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Andretta has over 10 years of experience working with individuals(adults/children), couples, and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings (ages 6+) addressing: mood disorders, anxiety, co-occurring disorders, trauma, grief/loss, family/relational conflict, emotion regulation, suicide, and self harming behaviors. Andretta has a background in child protection with experience in forensic interviewing, and experience working with predatory offenders.
Andretta is dedicated to being present by walking alongside clients throughout their therapeutic journey demonstrating empathy and compassion, while creating a safe space for clients so that change can occur.
In her free time, Andretta enjoys hiking/being in nature, music, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
