Andrea's Bio:
Dr. Andrea Thomas holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership in Behavioral Health from Grand Canyon University and a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Winona State University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with extensive experience working with individuals ages 11 and up, as well as couples seeking support through life’s challenges.
Dr. Thomas is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through the Beck Institute and is a Certified Practitioner in Mind-Body Medicine through The Center for Mind-Body Medicine. She has also completed training in Somatic Experiencing® through Somatic Experiencing International, further deepening her trauma-informed approach.
Andrea integrates a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, somatic techniques, creative counseling approaches, and mind-body skills. Her holistic approach ensures that clients receive care tailored to their unique needs—emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Dr. Thomas is also an approved clinical supervisor by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy and provides supervision to clinical counselors seeking licensure in the state of Minnesota.
